Can anyone recommend a campsite within 10 miles of Kilnsey.

It should be a nice place, and be likely to have space for us at short notice.

Facilities unimportant.

Thanks

The one in Kettlewell is nice. Likely to be busy but worth a shot.

If you want to climb at Kilnsey there's a field within view of the crag. It's a nice spot next to the river and you can just turn up. £10 per van for the night. But it is just a field, no toilets or anything.

Just drive north past the crag, and when the road bends right over the river, the field is on the left.

Threaplands Campsite is good, 5 miles from Kilnsey and usually has loads of space. £10/ person and has all the usual facilities you would expect from a campsite.

The Gordale campsite has been pretty quite when I’ve walked through it the last couple of weeks

It's officially shut because of the 'water situation'. He'll still let you on (as of three weeks ago) but boil the water or take your own.
