Hypothetically,

If I was planning to full a standard sized shower cubicle with Frosties cereal, how many boxes would I need?

.

200 of the big 1kg boxes.

I object to showing my working, but I can assure you it's great.

Are you filling it with the boxes or with the cereal from the boxes?

Depending on the answer - lots or even more than lots.

Thanks for all help so far.

The intention is that cereal is removed from the boxes.

You’d need 167 boxes to fill the cubicle. But, assuming you are of average height, you would need 8 boxes to stand on to reach over the edge of the cubicle. But by the time you were nearly done, you’ve eaten half a box. So the answer is 37453748 boxes. Or thereabouts. Give or take.

We need to determine the structural strength of the specific cereal then; will a two meter head of pressure be enough to collapse the flakes, significantly improving the volume packing efficiency?  Many flakes barely survive transport in their box, let alone under the crushing weight of two meters above them.

Pro tip - duck tape the drain hole first if you want them to ever speak to you again.

Will the shower be running, wet or dry?

Before doing anything stupid with food, consider food banks or homeless charities.

What about a bowl with bubble bath at the bottom of the shower, fill it with bubbles.

EU shower?
Or, the new post Brexit UK one?

In reply to Kevster:

Can a shower run dry ?

It's going to be a hell of a mess if that amount of Frosties get wet.

For sure. Hungry work.

With or without milk?

In reply to bouldery bits:

If you want to make this easy, tape big sheets of paper or plastic dust sheets or something to the glass, then fill been the glass and sheets. You can get the effect of a shower cubicle/phone box/office full of packing peanuts/ping pong balls/cereal/shaving foam from the outside for way less effort.

Is there a standard size shower? They come in all different shapes and sizes.

In reply to bouldery bits:

Just been researching this issue: some smart arse tried to find an easier method by covering the inside of the cubicle with honey and then sticking a single layer of cereal on it. Worked a treat. That’s how frosties glass was discovered.

It's OK, he's going to shovel the cereal back into the boxes and take it to the food bank when he's done.

Ha ha .  A cereal killer in the shower cubicle.

FTFY.

It gets better!  The first person to try making frosted glass first tried it using bits of straw. He stripped down to his pants, popped inside the shower cubicle and started sticking away. His pants got covered in straw but coz he was hungry he ate his pants. He then started making this stuff commercially and called them shreddies !

Very good point about not wasting food. Perhaps think again.

Have you considered asking Kellogs for some condemned Frosties that would only be dumped?

Are you planning to plumb the shower so that it dispenses milk?

And if so, would you choose hot or cold?

If you've ever put hot milk on cornflakes, you'll know the answer.
