Apparently he did take it quite well though.

I didn't read it that you meant me.  I quite agree.  But I hope people will see her as representing us too.

This fits with the description of  DUP MP I heard on any questions arguing in committee (by a fellow MP and committee member that there would be no need for an Irish border after Brexit as it would be just like the border between (Belgium and France - or similar, memory fails).

There are damn stupid lies, ignorance and false assertions made by these constitutional wrecking criminals every single bloody day

Is there any party the Cons would not join with to hold on to power for power's sake?

Universities are hotbeds of socialism. Pontificating about economics from an ivory tower does not prove you are a good economist.

No, it doesn't, but being a professor of economics suggests a passing acquaintance with the subject, don't you think?

Maybe but I think being a member of the BP guarantees you haven't got the faintest idea about how to run a modern successful economy...

Said a socialist. Wow.

"as far as I am aware she does not have any degree in economics"

These are actual words he said. But he was wrong. She is literally a professor, so yes, does have a degree (or two). Makes him an idiot for trying to play the person.

If voting Tory in the last 3 elections makes me a socialist then you are right...

In reply to PaulScramble:

you're all conjecture.

The actual experienced fact is that the school where our youngest is doing A levels is short of a Physics and Chemistry teacher.   Not short of One but short of any!

A school that has GCE and A level students left in that condition by years of cuts and problems that are the Self Servative Party's doing.   Things have fallen to a condition I would never have believed even in Thatcher's time.

Take your Story Part lies elsewhere

Labours record on the economy is far better than the Tories, despite what all the right wing press says.

I love that. An article about factless assertions and this happens to you. Life is a parody.
