"Brexit" - The original political soundtrack.

Soon to be "out" (no pun intended) at all good record shops .

My first suggestion is

"The final countdown" - Europe.

Darling you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'til the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

It's always tease, tease, tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day it's fine and next it's black
So if you want me off your back
Well, come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go, there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know

In reply to The Wild Scallion:

Maybe a bit too upbeat?

The roll of distant thunder breaks, the afternoon of silence wakes
They hurry through from Petergate as if they know this dance
In fury blind, I drive at night across the moors, the open roads
Beneath the freezing starry skies, racing in some trance
These cities are illusions of some triumph over Nature's laws
We've seen the iron carcass rust and buildings topple into dust
And as the waters rise, it seems we cling to all the rootless things
The Christian lies, technology, while spirits scream and sing
Oh God I love the world

Well I never said I was a clever man but I know enough to understand
That the endless leaps and forward plans will someday have to cease
You blind yourselves with comfort lies like lightning never strikes you twice
And we laugh at your amazed surprise as the Ark begins to sink
This temple that is built so well to separate us from ourselves
Is a power grown beyond control, a will without a face
And watching from outside I wish that I could wash my hands of this
But we are locked together here, this bittersweet embrace
Oh God I love the world

And if one day the final fire explodes across the whitened sky
I know you've said you'd rather die and make it over fast
With courage from your bravest friends, waiting outside for the end
With no bitterness but an innocence that I can't seem to grasp
I know somehow I will survive - this fury just to stay alive
So drunk with sickness, weak with pain, I can walk the hills one last time
Scarred and smiling, dying slow, I'll scream to no one left at all
I told you so, I told you so, I told you so . .
Oh God I love the world

Queens of the Stone Age tracks to suit all persuasions...

Brexiteers: Everybody Knows That You Are Insane.

Or as they might see it: Everybody's Gonna Be Happy.

Barnier's theme song: You Can't Quit Me Baby.

While JRM has: Gonna Leave You.

The whole process: Long Slow Goodbye.

JC's stance on this: You're So Vague.

And finally, what the Hell's going to happen on the 29th: No One Knows.

Why don't you ask him who's the latest on his throne?
Don't say that you love me

Just say that you want me"

Good list!

I'd argue 'You think i ain't worth a dollar but i feel like a millionaire' would also be a good one for JRM. As I don't think he's worth a dollar and he has indeed made a reported £7mill offshoring his client's cash every time he shorts the pound, which he does frequently.

QOTSA just keeps giving.

Increasing cries of 'Burn The Witch' from both sides of the house, as well as 2nd ref pleas to 'Do It Again', while Barnier's 'Turnin On The Screw'. Then we finally leave and the nation 'Wake Up Screaming' look across the Channel and ponder 'You Got A Killer Scene There Man...'

Alternative lyrics....

'Theresa to the left of me

Junker to the right

stuck in the middle in poo.'

I was going to suggest Prodigy - Firestarter.

Chaotic, destructive, nihilistic, anarchic and mesmeric all at once.
