Bet that caught a few of you out.
These beauties are foraged from a roundabout at my local Tesco. Eaters, massive, shaped like a plum tomato. The tree is tall - even my fully extended pole can’t get to some of them. Anyone know what type?
I don't suppose you got a picture of a leaf too did you? My other half spent a year and a bit going around Wales picking apples and pears from various places and sending them off for DNA sampling. They found a load of new varieties (40 I think). So might not be as simple to identify as you might think!
