Amazing crystals

Afternoon, 

I recently discovered rainbow Bismuth crystals.

Purchased myself a few for my collection at home.

Truly amazing to look at .   

The geometry is spectacular and for some reason reminds me of Mayan/Inca/Aztec design.

Just thought I'd share this discovery.

Makes me wonder if there's caves of the stuff in the Incan/Aztec region...  Wiki suggest its a possibility, but couldn't find anything about where natural occurrences have been found

Mmmm. 

I didn't think to look but yes,  

"Bismuth is typically obtained as a by-product in refining lead, copper, tin, silver, and gold ores found in Bolivia, Peru, Japan, Mexico, and Canada"
