At a time when we need as much state money as possible and in that are promised much closer government attention to cutting tax avoidance and stopping and prosecuting tax evasion this is one of the current features of the UK property market.

It is in a way... his ideals involve distracting the population from the bad tax behaviour of him and his mates.

Against the balance of over 7 trillion which is identifiable.

£100 billion sounds a lot. But compared with the overall value it is small beer. 

Slowly these things are being clamped down on .

In uk terms it is tiny..not saying it is right,but sometimes better to see the wood from the trees so to speak.

it is being clapped down on slowly and takes time to work through.

Out of interest would you recommend we adopt this softly softly approach in other "small beer", such as benefit fraud, or do you think it should remain the preserve of those with large amounts of cash to have their financial crimes treated gently?
