Water temperature in Loch Venachar tonight And the sun was starting to peek through the clouds giving some lovely light on the surrounding hills. 7 of us had a lovely swim and enjoyed the setting!

Years ago did a walk above Venachar to a lovely little loch with a great name: Loch Drunkie. You have to love the Scots!

Loch Drunkie is a nice wee loch 🙂

There is also a Loch Brandy above Glen Clova! Also very pretty and worth a visit

Agreed. Finally managed to get back to Clova the year before last, after a more than 20 year gap. Did the classic Brandy to Wharral round via The Goet. Saw a huge, recent-looking landslip on the crags above Brandy  There are some deep looking fractures in the plateau edge up there.
