Beginner trad seconder (Just finished the Peak Climbing Becoming independent course) looking to get more seconding experience on some easier routes (Up to SEV/HS).

Competent indoor belay and indoor/outdoor boulderer, and happy to travel anywhere in the peaks (have Car, harness, rope, helmet and some protection)

Very happy to just practice top ropes and belay rigging to build confidence, so if there are any other beginners (or experienced climbers who fancy some easier route mileage) looking to get as much experience before the winter let me know.

Cheers!

It's an age old running joke on here.

The older members insist on it being the Peak District (or even the Peak) no plural.

Most others couldn't give a flying f*ck...

join the local club.  You'll be maxed out as most clubs has too many leaders wanting to strut their vertical stuff.

No mate, not a bad start, just an old chestnut of an argument that doesn’t mean anything anyway!

Under 30 here... it's very much the Peak. To the OP: don't actually worry about it

Careful though barchman, The Lake District is defo 'The Lakes'.

But! There is only one lake. All bar one are 'Meres' or 'Waters'

Simple eh?
