/ Looking for a climbing partner / group
Hi, I've not long moved to Newport in South Wales and have started climbing at Boulders in Cardiff after a brief break.
I'm looking to get back into it regularly and train for the warmer months when I can hopefully look to get back out onto the crags.
I'm usually about and looking for partners, just give me a shout when it gets warmer
Sounds good to me. Give me a shout if you fancy going to the wall one evening.
Sounds ideal, I've not had an opportunity to try out some sport in the wye valley so I would certainly be keen.
Aaron, I've just moved to work in Cardiff, but currently only there midweek whilst the family are still back in England. But I do need to get back in climbing, so a Tues or Wed evening session at Boulders could work for me, if you're interested. Hopefully, by the summer I'll be down permanently and be ready to explore the real stuff on my doorstep
No worries at all Jon I'm happy to climb at boulders on the evening. As far as I'm aware I'm free both evenings next week if you want to meet there, just give me a shout.
Hi, I live on the other side of the channel but would love to come to Wales any time during the weekend to do some outdoor climbing! Just moved in recently myself: https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/lifts+partners/climbing_partners_wanted_-_bristol-700602.
Seems like we should all arrange a Wye valley day, there is enough of us
Sounds like plan, I've always been keen to give Bristol a go as well. Definitely have to get something sorted and make a day of it for everyone.
I climb at boulders most Wednesday's and outside as much as possible. Let me know if you ever want to climb
I'll be there next Wednesday so we'll have to have a climb.
Hoping to get lots of outdoor routes done this year as well.
Drop me a message next week.
So folks, any plans for this Saturday (or Sunday)?
I'm free next weekend if anyone is keen? Really fancy doing some sport.
I can be at Boulders on Tues or Weds from 7pm, if anyone wants to climb
Apologies for not getting back to you I've been super busy! Would you be keen to get out to Dinas Rock this weekend? Weather permitting of course. I've walked around there it's amazing.
Following this week's avalanche fatalities on Ben Nevis, mountain safety bodies have put out a reminder to walkers, climbers and skiers that enthusiasm should always be matched by caution.
