Does this fill up quickly on a weekend with good weather? 

If so does anyone know roughly what times I'd have to get there to get a spot?

We were there last weekend and met at 9am, we just got in a fair way down thew lane in a pull in. Lot of bad parking on there. I'd say meet at 8:27.

Bank holidays it's fine. No-one ever thinks to go there.

Not this weekend clever clogs.

Last weekend it looked like people were paying the farmer to park in the field too, so plenty of space.

The other Seathwaite will be quieter! A Cumbrian friend arrived there last year intending a wander up Grey Friar or something, only to encounter someone who had satnav-ed his way to the wrong Seathwaite and who apparently wasn't best pleased when advised that it was a quite a long walk to the Pike from there.

there's a lesson there ...

Ha ha, I had the same while we were on Turner Hall Farm campsite, some people wandering around the campsite looking lost asking which way it was to Scafell, I pointed them in the general direction and wished them luck but suggested they may be in the wrong valley.

There's parking at the farm/campsite. £5 in the honesty box
