Hi
In August myself and my friend climbed snowdon with our two 8 year old girls. We when up the pyg track and back down the miners track. Both girls loved it and would like to climb another mountain which leads us to climbing scafell pike next summer. Can any one recommend a similar rout if not slightly harder to the pyg and miners tracks?

Thanks in advance for any help

I like the Corridor route from Borrowdale.

I think all routes up Scafell Pike are a bit harder than the trade routes up Snowdon.  But the easiest route is up Brown Tongue from the Wasdale side.  Pretty straightforward and no rock hopping or proximity to big drops.  Wasdale is more of a drive but has a great pub and camping and a youth hostel down the valley for reasonable price accommodation which they might find fun.
