West of Scotland - hill recommendation

Hi,

My mum, a keen hillwalker, came over to Scotland for two weeks with a dream of doing some hill. I planned for her Buachaille Etive Beag as it is not too strenuous, mostly "paved" so should be fine even in wet weather and the views are stunning. However, it is not 5 days in and she barely left house due to constant rain here in Glasgow.

I am watching the forecast and the West (not surprisingly) look a tiny bit better. Is there something of similar visual impact that you could recommend towards the west coast, up to 2hrs drive from Glasgow?

Thank you

Ben Lomond? The Cobbler?

In reply to Pietrach:

Ben Ledi - decent views from the top

Dumyat - views over Wallace monument and Stirling Castle

Cobbler - decent enough hill, good path now and great views

Good luck in getting out, and good luck in getting a view if you do

Thank you, apologies but i totally confused things by mixing up West and East. I deleted this thread and will post a new one.

Thank you for replying, but I totally confused everyone by mixing up West and East. I meant East looks better! I cannot edit the thread so I am going to delete it and post a new one.
