Hi there,

As you get towards the top of Tryfan's North face there is a steep, grassy section to the East of the North Tower, it can be seen on the left of the cover image here - https://www.ukscrambles.com/wales-scrambles/tryfan-north-ridge-scramble/

Can anyone tell me any info about this section of the route as I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks in advance!

That looks like the summit, not the north tower, and that grassy section isn't on the route you'd normally take on the north ridge.

Cheers for the corrections I'm not too familiar with Tryfan!

A couple friends and I ended up taking that left hand route to the summit, we did think after that we may have gone wrong somewhere.

In reply to Mxlons:

Sounds like you've taken the Eastern traverse path instead of going up the tower, which takes you past North Gully and round to pop out on the summit just behind Adam and Eve.
