Thinking of walking this mid May and wondered if anyone out there has completed it around the same time and would like to share their experiences e.g. huts open/closed, snow on high passes etc
That's normally really snowy, even in a dry year - ski touring season still higher up. Mid July will probs still have snowfields on some sections, although where and how big varies a lot. I wouldnt go in mid may personally.
