Viagra yes. Don't need any just yet but the path information would be useful - is it the one heading up Swinnergill? That's been dodgy for several years and parts have slipped in the past.

Edit: just checked the link again and it is correct. Unfortunately, I can't expand the photo to see the map and the sign is blocking the view of the background!

One of the irritating things is that the page on the national park website with closures mostly just has extension notices rather than the original order, and they can be pretty opaque. I've emailed tben to suggest keeping the original notices available...

I walked up there yesterday and there's an impressive amount of debris that's spread down the gill. It's likely come down during the same flood that ripped through the dale last year. Most of the track was OK and it passes through open access land so dodging the tricky bits was alright. You wouldn't send your granny on her Zimmer up there though. I suppose the park people have to cover their collective ar*e.

Yes it said there's no alternative but it is access land, unless there is grouse shooting then who is going to care?
