Ancient stone footpath dug up near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire because the landowner doesn't like people on his land. Now just a muddy mess. Also use of barbed wire even though no animals are in the fields.

The landowner has also allegedly been verbally abusive to walkers.

Just signed and forwarded it to a friend and asked him to sign too. Clearly the farmer is little more than a vandal.

It appears to be re-routed and is called 'Muddy Path' on google maps!

The farmer shouldn't be re-routing though

We all know the solution: walk there more often.

My Mum and Dad live in Winchcombe and I run/ walk the local footpaths often when I visit. Who is the landowner/farmer who has done this? My Aunty works for one of the big local landowners - the one with the Roman Villa on his land, up the valley from Sudeley.
