Anyone have any ideas for Gluten Free back packing foods?

Cheers

Disclaimer not a gluten expert. One of my go to meals is Idahoan mash (109g dry weight) available in assorted flavours, with a foil pouch of tuna (85g), season with grated Parmesan and olive oil. Add re-hydrated  mushrooms or peppers for variety.

Costs about 20% of some proprietary backpacking foil nonsense.

I've used the Firepot meals (from a small UK company) on a couple of trips:

Large quantity of gluten free pasta (Barilla recommended) with a suitable pour in sauce and as much cheese as you want is a firm favourite here. I can do this for a couple of days. You can get some gluten free complete meals such as Trek'n eat (the red fish curry is acceptable), but less calories than proper cooking.

Microwave rice can be heated in a pan and is already cooked.

Quite a lot of their meals are gluten free.

Some cheese would up the calories if necessary.

Can be made with puffed rice if you can't have oats.

Bag of GF pasta, some kind of sauce, chop up Peperami or similar and chuck in.

You can do something similar with those pre-cooked flavoured rice bags.

I'm a big fan of buckwheat anything, not because it's gluten free  _ I just love the taste. Buckwheat  muesli cereal is readily available as is buckwheat pasta, but best of all is puffed buckwheat . I mix in a few dried blue berries and cranberries and pour oat milk over it.
