The Saddle/An Diollaid, Forcan Ridge. Glen Shiel, Wester Ross.

As per a previous thread of one year ago [https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/hilltalk/forcan_ridge_-_loose_rock-669864...]  there remain dangerously loose rocks on the rock ramp approach at the bottom of the Forcan Ridge. More of the ramp has broken up and two person-sized rocks are temporarily wedged by soil and smaller rock at the bottom of the ramp. Rain and human foot fall will undoubtedly help these to move further and fall onto the grassy slope below during the coming months. This means that using the few metres of path just below the ramp exposes one to serious risk from stonefall.

The problem area is obvious in summer conditions by its discolouration. Taking an approach that gains the rock to the right (E) of this area avoids this rockfall risk.
