Hello Scramblers!
I like Notch Arete and often try to incorporate it into a scrambling day on Tryfan.
I have only ever approached it via a descent of the gully that descends from the notch in the North Ridge - unpleasant and loose and the lower section seems awkward these days.
I see that the latest Reeves guidebook suggests a descent from the picnic area / viewing platform below Notch Rocks
Has anyone got anyone got any direct experience of that? If so as much beta as possible would be appreciated.
