Any difficulties in winter via this route?

Plus with a dog.

I 've done in in summer but years ago and have a vague memory of a steep exposed bit between the two.

I've done very minor winter routes on both of them so seeing those names was a nostalgic blast from the distant past! I remember Cruach nam Miseag being a big wide ridge running down from Beinn Narnain, and just a straight forward walk up to the top? But it is 25 years at least!

There are a couple of steepish bits, but not exposed, it's a broad ridge. There are plenty of crags around, though, so a winter slip could be nasty.

This is the final wide ridge leading to the Spearhead & Narnain plateau:

There's a bit of scrambling over the rocks then a gully on the Spearhead, maybe Grade I depending on conditions. I wouldn't risk taking a dog.

Ta. Maybe another day.

Depends on the dog - we were followed up the Crim Lem ridge (grade II) a few weeks ago followed by a party including a fearless collie. Though it did cheat by going round the hard bits.
