Any recs?

Hey, I was out there the other week and just used their national forecast service which was pretty accurate to what actually happened.

There is even an app if you wanted that.

This is one of the ones I used while out there this Spring ski touring, you can click on each region for a more detailed forecast.

Bergfex (they use data from the national service ZAMG). And Swiss Meteoblue is also very nice for looking up specific areas. Especially the multi-model view, comparing the different global and local weather forecast models, like the very detailed short-term COSMO2 (Alps, by Deutschewetterdienst) or AROME2 (France). And their own NEMS4 seems to be pretty accurate for mid-term predictions or as an useful second-opinion to crosscheck (they conveniently show you the predictability of the forecast for each day).

Many thanks for all the useful pointers.  I particularly like meteoblue.

I live here and use Bergfex app a lot. Some people call it Bergfu*ks because of its poor reputation, but it generally seems pretty accurate to me! heir companion ski and topo (hiking/klettersteig routes) apps are also superb.
