Heading out Arrochar way this weekend. Any snow left to play in on the hills after the thaw this week?

In reply to icehockeyhair:

I can't speak from experience, but webcams of Glen Coe look remarkably green, as did a friend's summit photos from Knoydart today. I can't see Arrochar being any better. The ground is likely to be frozen and slippy by the weekend though, so you may well be wearing crampons at some stage.

I was on Ben Laoigh today. Ground frozen above 800 metres bit vitrtually no snow. Hoarfrost  above 900 metres and ground very hard. Odd snow shower so may be a dusting by the weekend.Could see virtually nosnow north of here either.P robably only snow lying high in NE facing corries. Central gully on Laoigh virtually no snow.

Thanks to both of you, unfortunately it is looking a bit snowless!
