I recently acquired an army surplus goretex bivvy bag that I will only use occasionally. I don't have any space to easily store it hung or folded (because my loosely packed sleeping bags and puffy jackets take up so much cupboard space!) so it's pretty much going to have to live rolled up in its stuffsack. Will this be bad for it?

Rolled up - if my experience is anything to go by, the glue on the seam tape will let go first

Not GoreTe, but my Mountain Range bivi bag has always lived rolled up in it's stuff sack without any issue.

Just make sure it's clean and dry before you store it.
