Weighing up between Ribelle S OD and Tech. Lots of reviews online for Tech but not so many for S OD. Wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with the lighter model (S OD) and could offer some thoughts.
Aware that it’s softer than the Berger Tech but how much? How does this affect its feel on firmer snows; - heavy crust, Neve etc? Feels poor or fine actually.
As for ability on rock how does it climb. Sole lugs look a little bigger than on Tech despite both having same sole rubber. Wondering also if the running specific design affects climbing ability?
Lastly, warmth; how bloody cold are they where Scarpa have ripped all the insulation our in the name of fast and light!
