Looking for new work jackets for instructor team. Criteria as follows (descending importance);

 - UK supplier

 - Warm - used for delivering outdoor sessions in a low activity environment. Does not need to be waterproof.

 - Around the £100 mark

 - Non-technical is fine - warmth is more important than being able to undo a zip hanging off a grade nine ice route

 - Hood

Cheers!

Keels Belay jacket? Might fit the bill if you don't need/want a hood.

Ah. Just seen the hood bit. They do a hooded smock equivalent but it's £120.

I quite liked the look of these when I saw them in store, not keen on the colour, but that is personal taste:

Both good suggestions, cheers. Anything else from anyone else?

Tresspass might be worth a look? They have a fair number of insulated jackets in their range.  E.g https://www.trespass.com/baldwin-mens-padded-parka-jacket but there's loads more. They tend to have some level of waterproofing but not enough that you'll boil in the n bag.

Or either of these maybe?

I would ask Montane about a uniform trade deal, something like the flux would probably tick most of your boxes.

A centre I work at went down the Paramo route. Not sure what the cost was with a trade account tho and if it will be in budget.

Great kit.  Absolute work horse jackets. The fit allows extra layers underneath too and with say the Velez it's added bonus it's fully waterproof. Which if it's centre instructor kit i.e logo'd up is a bonus as that way all the staff won't wear their own gore tex over the top and hide the Centre Branding.
