I have a North Face VE-25 tent from May 2005 and the two black sponge-like separators between the inner tent and the flysheet in the middle of the main panels are perishing. The tent is obviously out of warranty, and North Face warranty center say that they don't have these as spare parts. I've also tried Lancashire Sports Repairs, Has anyone got suggestions on other places to try or what to use to replace them?

In reply to David Barlow:

Its just foam, find some of a similar depth, trim to size and stick/sew on.

In reply to David Barlow:

IIRC, it's just a very open (reticulated) foam. Like that used on loudspeakers.

Thanks for the comments. I didn't know about reticulated foam but was sure that ordinary sponges would trap water. I've ordered 2 of the Crux ones, which look like they'll fit.
