Some new interesting Scarpa climbing shoes out next year. Vapor S and Generator (TC Pro competition?) amongst others. I've got a pair of the Maestro Mids, good shoe but would be nice if it were stiffer, more precise and had a narrowed toe for jamming in thin cracks. The generator looks to address these points.

Also new Ribelle Tech mountain boot and Ribelle Run XT running shoe.

Sadly they didn't attend the Outdoor Trade Show earlier in the week, otherwise we'd have included them within our video round-ups; however, I'm sure we'll get the lowdown on them another time.

I don't think we've shared it on site yet, but here's a link to our first report, which focusses on footwear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF-gXWeY7HE&t=320s

Sounds good, can't wait to hear more. I did hear that Josh Wharton stated that Scarpa were working on a direct replacement for the old Boostic (having developed the new into something else). Nathan also mentioned somewhere that stiffer offerings are coming. I wonder is the Generator Mid/Low is this shoe they were referring too?

Nice to see they have a new version of the Force - I loved the originals and wore this pair https://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/footwear/rock_shoes/scarpa_force_rock_shoes... for everything and for years after doing the review. I tried the Force V hoping they would be a good replacement but somehow they didn't fit my feet well.

I know nothing about running shoes really, but I do like that Scarpa now have a pair that is the "long distance plogger"! Is that a totally new word? A mix of plodding along and plugging away at it?

I'll report back on the rumours once we've seen them

Plodding/jogging, I'd have thought? Sounds right up my street. Well, apart from the 'long distance' bit...

As I understand it, plogging is the combined activity of jogging and picking up litter. Quite why or how specialist shoes are involved is beyond me.
