What the latest on the soles of these boots, still durability issues as highlighted in the UKC review and subsequent comments ?

Hmmm, no current users then ? Perhaps the Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro or the Ribelle might be the better option !

Yup.  I found they wore really fast around the toe box.  I returned mine as the rest of the boot was still in great condition.

I wrote the review but didn't get to use the boots much beyond when I wrote it up, what with the rubbish winter last year. So they've not been used all summer and when I did a winter route last weekend, I was wearing some B2 boots from the B2 review last winter! Once I get a few routes done this winter I'll see if the sole keeps crumbling and if so send them off for re-soling I guess.

Cheers, not looking good then, i may look elsewhere.
