I've got a pair of TX4 that I have had for about four years, worn most days on everything from winterish conditions on Snowdon and Scafell (with micro spikes) to walking to the shops and pretty much everything in-between. I estimate I have covered 5-6,000 miles in them. The uppers are still in good condition, but the soles are properly knackered.
Two questions. Should I just get another pair, or is there anything else I should be considering? Second question is resoling. Current pair are well beyond repair, but given the life in the uppers, its would seem like a good thing to do with any new pair. Anyone had any success resoling a pair of TX4 or similar?
