Apparently they're going to cost £100 which is considerably more than the $110 they cost in the States. That's a hell of a markup even allowing for the fact that US prices don't include sales tax and assumes a currency exchange rate of $1.10 to the pound sterling (tonight the interbank rate was $1.56). This is one of the reasons why I don't buy US brands in the UK; someone is making a lot of money out of UK consumers. Significantly, Patagonia and one or two small US companies do attempt to make prices more-or-less equal on both sides of the pond. So a pair of Patagonia Guide Pants cost £130 or $179 plus tax in the US.
