Hey folks,  need some new doubles for all round use, thinking 60m and circa 8mm, what would you recommend?

I have a 30 metre single I use most of the time on the grit so these are mostly for multi pitch trad, alpine and ice.

I'm a fan of Petzl ropes and use the Tango for my halves. I also have a Volta for alpine etc.

Reasonable longevity and super nice handling.

I got a pair of Mammut Phoenix halves last year. Nice ropes for the price.

I've got a couple of Golden dry Beal Cobra II 8.6mm 60m ropes that feel supple and flow well. Good for long routes, or just one doubled for shorter crags. Plenty of rope for long abseils.

I have a pair of Edelrid Apus pro Dry. a few friends have bought them after using mine also.

7.9mm so nice and light for mountain stuff and feel really nice
