For someone looking to restart their alpine game - what are the best instructional books out there?

Previous threads on this topic are around 10 years out of date. Twight's Extreme Alpinism gets a mention in them, also Alpine Climbing: Techniques to Take You Higher by Cosley & Housten. Has anything surpassed these or are they still the go to references?

I would also recommend Bruce Goodlad's Alpine Mountaineering.

Aha, a more recent contender!

Any guidance on who should buy what (i.e. depending on where you're already at, skills-wise)?
