Like many people it seems, I'm after retired climbing rope.
I use the sheath to make chalk bags, so the condition of the rope isn't too important, so long as I can remove the core and the sheath is in fairly good nick.
I don't want to be cutting up rope which still has life left for climbing! So it's that rope that got thrown somewhere out the way and you'll never use again that I'm interested in.
If you have anything lying around or maybe you'd like to have your own old rope transformed into something usable, then please give me a shout - email@example.com
Thanks in advance.
If you happen to be near Buxton, there is a sporting gear charity shop there that has a load of cheap old ropes for sale. It's on the Five Ways junction, called The Thomas Theyer Foundation I think. If you aren't then ignore this post!
I’m not too far away at all. Thanks for the heads up!
