An interesting take on Everest expeditions for sure.

Everest aside, I find I just can't get into Ozturk's film making. I find it too contrived on the emotional and the dramatic stuff, too 'deep' and too exceptionalist. The imagery I find too rendered, like panorama shots from Lord of the Rings. Very Nat Geo I suppose, much of their stuff has a 'frontier' quality that wants to attempt to write history for us, but I find fails to include the day-to-day parts of big trips.
