Ice Climbing Serrai di Sottoguda Gorge (Feb 2019)_
Serrai di Sottoguda Closure
Sadly having driven/walked to “Dollies” with main intention of climbing in the Sotto gorge, found the whole gorge is closed off. Apparently the very severe weather before Christmas ’18 caused landslides to fill the gorge with boulders & trees (the whole hillside above is covered with fallen trees) and subsequently is dangerous to walk through and closed off at both ends.
Not a wasted trip tough as there are so many other good ice venues in the area
