Going to be in India from the 3rd of August to 3rd September. I am trying to sort out a mountaineering trip for this time. Been to the area before and done the trekking peaks further north, want to do something a little more remote and challenging. I have been contacting the usual suspects in Leh, Remo and a couple of other contacts I have. As yet not had any bites. Most of the UK main players like Jagged Globe and Adventure Peaks have expeditions but dates do not fit and I am tied to these dates.
My issue is I will be on my own so would need to either find a partner to do something with, or go on a local organised expedition, which should be easy to do but if you have been to India you know where I am coming from.
Anyone know of a expedition going to the area that I could tag onto or anyone else interested in going to the area.
Failing all that I will sort out a big trek through the Spiti valley.
