Heading to to the alps with plans for the Cassin in a few weeks and wondered does anybody have any recommendations for anything else in the area? Or any other sources for inspiration! 

Closeby, an as a training area on the same rock, you might consider Albina Hut and the climbs surrounding it. Also some options for less stable weather.

Other than that, you could do worse than spend some days around furka pass (Sidelen Hut. / Albert Heim Hut) an do some routes there. The Niedermann routes on Bielenhorn and Graue Wand are especially good in my experience.

My old Italian Rock guide by Al Churcher had a sentence to the effect that every climber should visit the Mello valley at least once in their lifetime.
