Does anyone have information on the current state of conditions for alpinism in the Cordillera Blanca? Saw some worrying satellite images of the Andes but would appreciate any on ground info. Hoping to get there next June Covid permitting 

I've seen a few reports from this last/current summer of several new routes on lower-mid peaks and reportedly conditions were quite good, in terms of snow n ice cover. Long-term obviously things are thinning, and some things have changed irreversibly, but a lot of it still seems fine if you get a decent season.
