I'm looking to rent a flat in either Chamonix proper or Argentiere between Dec 31 and Jan 14 this year.
In the past I've gotten flats for 300 euro for 2 weeks (off season) or 800 euro for 1 month (prime summer season), and I'm hoping I can find something for around 500 for these two weeks (am I being unrealistic?). The usual people I've gone to in the past have already booked out their places, but I'm hoping to avoid paying the 50-80e/night rate that airbnb or other similar highly visible outlets offer. If anybody knows anybody who is trying to lease out their flat during that time, would appreciate if you can put me in touch.
