Hey folks,

So we're after some suggestions of alpine mixed routes/areas/mountains in the Alps that are in condition at the moment as the Guides office is telling us there's not much going on here in Cham after a dry summer...

We're climbing hvs/e1 trad, 6b sport and scottish V 5 with a good alpine experience base.

Somebody suggested Swiss 4000'ers but not spent any time climbing there

cheers

In reply to Frazer:

The Swiss Alps are full of great PD to D ridge routes on 4,000m peaks. Have a look at one of the 4,000m peak guide books such as the Martin Moran AC guide. How mixed these routes will he will depend on conditions - potentially quite snowy as there was snow to below 3,000m recently, in Cham anyway, though some of this will have burned off. Ask at the guides offices, eg Zermatt, Saas Fee, Grinelwald. These are areas well worth exploring. The alpine conditions page here is also worth a look. The forecast doesn’t look too bad either.
