Cracking band. Saw them at Glasto, years ago. Instead of lots of fancy lasers and coloured lights, they just had pure bright white light. One of those gigs that you needed to be there to get the effect. It occurred to me some time ago that Jason, reverts back to certain themes: Jesus, drugs, love . Or some combination like, 'Jesus, I love drugs'. As well as the tunes, there are some great noises, sonic sculptures, on their albums.
Also a big fan of Spaceman3. When I saw them, they came on stage and sat down and played the gig from plastic lawn chairs. Not the usual sort of rock 'n' roll charisma. "Taking drugs to make music to take drugs to", is possibly one of the best titles for an album ever.
