Good call fella!

Here's Lanegan again (Beehive)  youtube.com/watch?v=I7JCndWHBRg&

Has it all... Unbearable heat, storms, a relationship on the rocks and some guy vibing with the bees! Although the linked vid has an entirely different take on it than what I get from the lyrics.

I'm reading his autobiography, the story of the recording of Whiskey for the Holy Gost is something else. Do you rate that album?

I love the last 3 Trees albums, Sweet Oblivion is my favourite. Haven't listened to the solo stuff.

In reply to aln:

I haven't listened to it in many years. Guess what I'll be doing today!

Excellent. Makes you wonder what on earth they were doing when they recruited that ridiculous pantomime matinee elf Dio and all rest of them.

Not at all similar, but some chilly Georgian mountains, lovely harmonies and a donkey.

That was excellent. Where are they from?

In reply to aln:

They're from Tbilisi, Georgia. The album Therapy is well worth picking up.

I have a bit of a thing for foreign bands, there's something I like about listening to music where I can only infer from the tone what they're singing about!

I know what you're saying. My all time favourite band are Super Furry Animals. They sing a lot in Welsh, but even when they're singing in English I struggle sometimes! 😀

I've also been enjoying Gwenno on 6music recently, singing in Welsh and Cornish.

I enjoy screaming trees.

After watching roadrunner I've been listening to the Brian jonestown massacre a lot, particularly Anthony Bourdin's favourite: anenome
