Too late for me to start it tonight but that's tomorrow's movie sorted, thanks for the heads up.

I wouldn’t get excited. It’s utterly tedious.

Watched it yesterday, tedious sums it up quite well. It was spun out for the sake of spinning it out and I found it very disjointed too.

Unfortunately you are largely right. It could do with being an hour shorter.

How does one get a job as a baddie type henchman? It must be fairly well paid and I can hit a 2p coin at 30 yards with an air rifle which i’m sure as shit would get my foot in the door to train the others how to to actually hit something with a gun. Only time JB gets shot is by Rami Malek who doesn’t look like he even has to strength to hold a gun up

Yes, but as you can see, the job description clearly states that you have to be pissed/on mushrooms before you can deploy the firearm.

Probably better off watching the wall you’ve painted on your Easter DIY spree dry off. It’ll be more exciting.

I was going to watch it yesterday but got sidetracked by Outer Range on the same channel, cowboy/sci-fi mixture which is quite enjoyable so far.

Having managed to watch oh, a half hour before ... deciding to watch paint dry, I'm fascinated. Does anyone come away from watching a Bond film saying 'That was great, I just can't wait until the next one!' Could be the same people who queue up for the latest iPhone, I suppose.

I really enjoyed it, but probably more entertaining in a cinema than on TV at home. BTW I change by phone every 6 years or so

I remember watching a bond film in the cinema and the audience breaking into applause when the ridiculous opening action sequence ended. Great fun.

As an owner of the latest iPhone, I’m offended! I haven’t seen any of the other Craig Bond films, just to show my level of interest. Heard this one was a departure from the norm, which was why I tried it… and it was still garbage. Hopefully i can avoid seeing any more of them for at least another 12 year stint.

I actually did treat myself to it at the cinema, and can only echo everyone else: bloody tedious, and as for the last hour, completely risible.

Years ago yes, is that because I was younger or were the films better? I don't know but I do know I won't be revisiting the old films. I would rather remember them as good and not spoil the memories.

I remember loving the Sean Connery ones as a kid, but not liking the Roger Moore ones anything like as much. First Bond that I saw at the cinema was Timothy Dalton, I still think he was much underrated. Saw most of the Brosnan outings at the cinema, they ranged from OK to terrible. I’ve not seen all of the Daniel Craig Bond films, but I get the impression that they fluctuate wildly between quite good and terrible. I thought Skyfall worked quite well, even if Bardem was somewhat wasted.

Yes, anyone with an attention span greater than a couple of minutes.

About 45minutes of good viewing but was already bored stiff by the time that came along. On balance would ask for my 2hrs 43mins back.

But his finest hour must be as the evil supermarket boss, Simon Skinner, in Hot Fuzz!

Another film that needed 45 minutes edited from it. Brilliant though.

I've got half an hour left to watch.that will be my third sitting. I honestly couldn't say what's happening.

It won't go down in my list of must watch bond films.

About as good as never say never again

I enjoyed the Bond reboots for a bit - I thought Casino Royale brought it a bit up to date but they've just got progressively worse.

I watched NTTD at the weekend and was scrolling through my phone bored witless after 45 minutes. I would've been furious to risk Covid and spank out loads of money to go and see this at the cinema.

Also, Casino Royale from 1967 has landed on prime as well.

It’s quite something.

Wrong.

Brilliant though.

Right.

Not so much a movie as a way of life.

I hated that early Casino Royale as a kid as it wasn't proper "Bond" but I've grown toappreciate and  love it as an adult, much underrated, as was OHMSS and Timothy Dalton.  I even quite liked "Never Say Never Again"

In the cinema, at 100dB, it's much more exciting.

I enjoyed it, but I think you have to set your expectations, it's supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek. It's entertainment, nothing more.
