A French climber fell in a crevasse, spent eight days there before being rescued. I've found a mention of it in a 1934 AC journal but nothing else. Any help to find the account would be appreciated.

In reply to Myfyr Tomos:

You nearly got there first: couldn't find the English edn and the French has absolutely no index or list of chapters, typical French publishing. Ken was a very good editor, but awkward. He had a thing about the Lady Di accident being a conspiracy  and wouldn't let Anne's acid comments appear in the English edn.

Thank you! I read that book two months ago, had obviously remembered the story but forgotten where I'd read it, for some reason I thought I'd read it online!

Cheers
