Have I ignored and underestimated Ricky?

Never really took much notice of Ricky, except for the odd MC hosting gig clip on YouTube which hits the news for offence, or the "Episodes" series which I loved.

Is Mr Gervais a comedy genius, that many profess?

I think he's funny. His comedy might be an acquired taste, though

Yeah, I think he's funny. I thought The Office was great - toe curlingly, cringe inducing, mortifying but very funny indeed.  Extras, Derek, all good.

But I know there's a hard core of dislikers out there.  Give him a whirl, see what you think?

His more recent After Life series was brilliant. Funny but at the same time extremely moving and poignant.

Not sure I'd like him as a person, but he does some very funny stuff, The Office, Episodes, and After Life (this was brilliant).

I find his laugh laugh irritating. He must be clever though.

ps having just watch the link, it made me laugh, so well done Ricky.

Not a big fan.  Occasionally I find some of it funny. 

I have to say he has made it difficult to keep a straight face when teaching annoying small but chubby boys with ginger hair. Even that is shock value rather than actually funny.

I suspect he is a comedic genius. He certainly makes me laugh.....but that doesn't necessarily make him a nice person....and I'm pretty sure he doesn't care.
