More sad news Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk passed away today. Quite an influential band I think, I remember seeing this at the time.

Way ahead of their time. Autobahn still sounds like nothing else.

Sad news to hear. A phenomenally influential band and I'm happy I managed to see them live a couple of times. I was not disappointed either time.

I know what I'll be listening to at work tomorrow (much to the dismay of my colleagues!)

Saw them once "live" - inverted commas as it wasn't the usual live gig, more of a video art performance. After a while one of them did start tapping his foot which was the only visible "live" performance. Do robots count as live? They didn't even say "Good evening Glasgow", it was a general welcome in German. All the complete opposite of a good live gig.

I wasn't a fan and had no expectations. It was a superb gig. Definitely one of the most impressive and most memorable.
