Hello.

Who saw David Attenborough's Extinction: The Facts last Sunday or on Iplayer?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000mn4n/extinction-the-facts

I saw it and I found it very depressing and very saddening.

A certain well known environmentalist and climber posted about it on FB and was also doing it depressing.

Those here who saw it, what do you think about the documentary? Who else found it depressing?

Dito saddening?

Bye

Depressing,  saddening but oh so true. Unfortunately we just got to good at survival.

In reply to OwenM:

Too right.

There are small things we can do that make a difference like cut dairy, dairy products and meat consumption.

I haven't eaten mainstream chocolate since NYE and I mainly drink Americanos - if I have a cappuccino I have it with Oat alternative.

I started a thread, called "David Attenborough and Depression", to which several people contributed, if you would like to see what they wrote there.

In reply to veteye:

I'm on the verge of contributing.

Sorry, but if you really believe that will make one iota of difference you haven't graphed the scale of the problem.

It's not my action or one of my actions that will make a difference but many peoples multiple actions will make a great difference.

From a small acorn does not a mighty Oak tree grow?!
