Thanks for that, really interesting. The Ten Ragas track from 1982 was excellent, so far ahead of it's time. I'm looking forward to hearing the 60's stuff on the documentary.

I really enjoyed it - it was interesting for the background on the design school that was the base for these experiments, and the overall Indian cultural context. The interview with the last surviving student was really good too, although rather sad in that he never got to pursue his interests in electronic music. 

I could have done with a bit more from the original tapes but they were still intriguing.

Hi,

Many thanks for this thread (without which, I would've missed the programme) & for the Guardian & Wire links.

I thought it was all good, but, yes, the interview with Jinraj Joshipura was special.
