Dead Head TV Series

I appeal to the UKC community for anyone who can recall a TV series in about 1969 which I recall being titled 'Dead Head'- it centred around the discovery of a severed head in a hat box. I can find an eponymous series from 1986 on the net but not the one I recall. Does anyone out there remember this earlier programme?

Yes. I think some of it is on YouTube and it was much later. Maybe 79-82. I’ll try and rack my brains to remember what it’s called.

No. I don’t remember that far back. Mainly because I wasn’t old enough to watch TV in 1969. Most of the archives would have been recorded over.
